Horse Clinics
|
Clinics, includes family clinics:
- Rockn Bee offers two types of informational clinics; whole day (6 hours)
and ½ day (4 hours). Fees are $50 per participant for whole day clinics
and/or $25 per participant for ½ day clinics.
- Family informational clinics are always 4 hours. (This is a great
bonding opportunity for families).
- Most of the time, clinic attendees will work with Rockn Bee horses.
If you want to bring your own horse, there is no extra charge.
- Participant's horses must be healthy and have proof of negative Coggins
test results. All shots must be current and you must have your horse on
a good de-worming program. Your horse must be manageable and be well
mannered while on the Rockn Bee premises.
- Clinics are limited to 3 participants, so we can better focus our
attention on each rider's needs.
- All clinic participants must sign a hold harmless agreement, per the
Wyoming Statutes

What we do is technically referred to as "transpersonal communication and education".
We call it common sense. At the Rockn Bee you will observe, participate
and find out:
- How horses "talk" to humans (They think most people are deaf!)
- How to "listen" to horses
- How to respond properly and clearly
- How and when to reward a horse for its desired behavior and discipline
for undesired behavior
- How and when to let go of the wrong horse
- How and when to progress with a lesson
- How and when to stop progress with a lesson
- How to recognize danger signals
- How and when to get help with your horse
- How patience and perseverance pay dividends, and why it's important
to not try to take shortcuts in your horse's training
- Why appliances are not acceptable substitutes for a good training
program
- When it is best to bond with a horse
- How to properly use and fit tack to your horse
- How much of your personal resources (time and money) your horse will
take
- The value of a good nutrition program for your horse
- What the 2000 hour principle means to you and your horse
